Disneyland

Journal Entry: Thu Nov 12, 2009, 12:56 PM

Yeah, so, my whole family went to Disneyland yesterday! I had a lot of fun, was slightly appalled at the number of people who were also there, and came home with aching feet and a slight headache. Pirates of the Caribean and Indiana Jones Adventure had, like, 80 minute waits, and since my limit is about 45 minutes, we didn't end up going on those. We did manage to get to the Haunted House though, that's my favorite, and I had never been when it was Holiday before, so that was cool. We also got to do three rides I'd never been on before: Matterhorn Bobsleds, Space Mountain, and Innoventions. My brother and I had never been on the Matterhorn before because for somr reason, it was always closed. It was a lot of fun even though I didn't get wet at all, my mom went on it before a long time ago, she said you used to get really wet, so that kind of sucked. Especially since it was really hot, getting wet would have been nice, But it was fun anyway. Space Mountain was awesome! The line was always too long before, so we never went, but this time it was okay and we went! Way cool, cause I love speed! Innoventions sucked. The floor soccer was cool, otherwise though, it was just a giant moving arcade. Um, also, don't do the aging thing, that was gross. Oh, it was funny, before we rode the train (at Disneyland), I picked up a discarded water bottle that was under the bench, because i thought we could recycle it, you know? Anyway, I but it in our bag that had our food and other water bottles (Disneyland lets you bring your own food and drink now! Nice of them). Well later, on the way home, my aunt was drinking out of it and said something about it and I told her, you know, that I found it under a bench, and she gets this eeeuuww look on her face and goes "So I'm drinking some strangers water that you don't know where it's been?! No wonder you didn't drink any when I offered!" And so everyone started laughing and I told her I couldn't believe she didn't notice it wasn't like the ones we brought, and everyone was just laughing.
I actually meant to write this yesterday, but my brother practically knocked me off the seat trying to get online, and I went to sleep because my head hurt and my feet hurt and I was tired, so I went to sleep. Even knowing that, when I go to bed early (which I did), I will wake up early (which I did), and will thereby ruin my normal sleep schedule for possibly weeks to come. At that point, I was too tired to care. I cared, though, when I woke up fully rested at 2:30 in the morning. There's nothing to do at 2:30 in the morning! Aw, now I'm going to be tired early again. Stupid routine.

Uninhabited Planet Survive!

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 6, 2009, 1:36 PM

I just finished watching Uninhabited Planet Survive! (or Planet Survive, Desert Planet Survive, Uninhabited Planet, or Mujin Wakusei Survive!, whatever you might know it as), and I want more! I really love this anime and I was wondering, is there a manga? and if there is, can someone give me a link? I've looked everywhere I know and I can't find it. I hope that means I just couldn't find it, and not that there isn't a manga at all, but can someone let me know either way? I would be awesomely grateful. Thank you.

I Really Didn't Think This Through

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 12, 2009, 8:53 PM

Okay, so I've started looking for a job. This is very cool, really looking forward to it. Cool, right? Not, because, I didn't really think about the fact that not only do I not have a car, I don't have a drivers license either! So, even if did have a license, I couldn't go anywhere without a car. This is only a mildly annoying problem since I would only go to work, considering my general distaste of the outside world, (there are people out there! *panic*) but it is a problem nonetheless. What is an even bigger problem though, is my complete lack of directional sense. I mean, seriously, someone who gets lost on the exact same block that her house is on, should probably not be driving a car anyway. Also, my attention has a tendancy to wander at the least little thing, so the potential for error is even greater. I could get lost in the next state instead of just my own street! So, I really don't know how I'm going to do this. Who would have thought it'd be so difficult?

P.S. Did you notice my amazing inablity to stay on topic? It's awe-inspiring, isn't it?

P.P.S. Also, Amanda, it's pachyderm.

Just A Rant, So Ignore If You Want

Wed Sep 9, 2009, 6:49 AM
I really REALLY hate how people these days seem to feel they have to bring politics into everything. I'm talking about Obama's speech to kids? For God's sake people, he said stay in school and follow your dreams, not be a Rebublican because Democrat's suck or be a Democrat because Republican's suck. Geez, you all need to loosen up, not everything that comes out of someone's mouth has to have hidden messages you know. Granted that with politicians the chance IS higher, but when did we all become so suspicious of our fellow countrypeople? Even if they are politicians.

Also what is this about everyone losing faith in President Obama? Seriously people he hasn't even been in office for a year yet, and you're already saying, "Oh yeah, I don't think he was the best choice," or, "Yeah, we shouldn't have voted for him, I don't think he can really make a difference." What the heck people?! There is a reason the presidential term is four years you know, it's because you can't do anything in one year! Not to mention, he has to dig the ENTIRE country out of a, what, 4 BILLION dollar debt? You expect him to do this in one year? HOW!? And, even if the president has some really good ideas, he has to get them approved you know. So, if you want to find someone to blame, of course you are going to. You always will, no matter the crisis. If you have a different opinion, that's fine, this is mine. I'm just saying, you voted for him, now give the man his dang four years!

I'm out. Bye Amanda.
